I'd like to say I am able to play an instrument, but the closest thing to an instrument I could ever play was the electric keyboard, but with finger guiding (or whatever they call it when it tells you where to push). I fail at music :3

Member Posts: 82 Group: Member Member #11 Joined: Jun 8 2009	i started playing guitar because i thought it was cool, now i just play to entertain myself. i love bc rich guitars, although my fav is the gibson jes paul silverburst. maybe when im rich ill be able to spend the 6000usd on one. i love playing clapton, hendrix, or anything thats older rock. i do play some metal but prefer slower grungier stuff. chords are simple- free finger pickin is where its at. i am a big fan of the book-Guitar for Dummies. believe it or not, it really does help. also teaches some basic chords, along with all the kooler stuff like boxes, double stops, and how to create your own awesome solos for lead almost instantly. That's why you praaaactice. Your first few months = fail (they were for me anyway). Then you figure out what you're doing wrong and you're like oohhhh. I guess that's just if you're interested to begin with.
